iko + sean genockey = new iko album

It's finally gonna happen and it's being made this summer. we start with sean on 28th june in Bath's Realworld studios (Bath is a place, some may say the prettiest place in Britain). Needless to say the band are very excited. It will be available on itunes in the not too distant future and i do personally promise it will be a sonic masterpiece. All other details regarding title, tracklisting, physical copy etc.. are all to come but i wanted everyone here to know the important thing... we are still here! we are alive and we are recording a new album for you.

hooray.
love ya

There was also a sneaky cover of Jamelia's Superstar thrown in for good measure! We'll come back soon so keep a look out!

album two

we have a working title. we have about 30 tracks and ideas so it won't be long before we get that down to a tracklist. the band are so excited. we've all been writing songs for many years and i can honestly say the things we're writing now are in a different league. a sure fire way of me being able to tell how well its going is whether neil hums the song after we've written it. well.

the whole damn band have been humming the tunes!

we are getting the same reaction from friends and family and some of those are our harshest critics so things are really looking up. songs like 'the julianne collapse', 'mondaymorningesque', 'this room needs a priest','throw us to the lions' and 'wheezycreeper' will be ringing in your ears in the near future. they are ringing in ours now and we love them.

thanks for being our friends.
